I recevied the product minus ONE piece OVER a WEEK and a HALF ago. I sent it back…….payed for it and I am STILL WAITING FOR the replacement. The box was obvisouly gone through…..prior too shippment

With one gigantic exception – and I’ll get to that in a minute – I’m generally pleased with the Garmin nuvi 275/275T. The real test will be when I take it to Europe and put it in its “walking mode.” That was the primary reason I bought it.
Now, to that complaint: The recorded voice is extremely disagreeable and scolding. (I worked in radio for 27 years and know voices.) I’m beginning to believe this voice would get me lost and make no effort to rescue me!
I called Amazon asking if there are other voice options for the 275/275T. Customer service said there were not. Still, they passed me on to Garmin which has yet to respond to an e-mail sent about ten days ago.
