  1. Unfortunately, the Amazon site did not indicate clearly in the GPS features that the package includes a suction cup. So I bought it separately and when I received it I found out that they make me confused! JUST BE CAREFUL ABOUT THESE ONLINE STORES LIKE AMAZON.COM!

  2. product was as described. I like that I can position my Garmin in a variety of positions so that it is at an angle that I can view easily. No matter where I mount it.

  3. This product is practically guaranteed to come unstuck from the windshield, especially at crucial times like when you’re making a sharp turn and the GPS goes crashing to the floor. I decided that maybe mine had something wrong with it so I bought a second unit, only for this one to have a defective electrical connector. Fortunately, the Amazon people were great and they refunded my purchase immediately.

I strongly prefer the friction mount Garmin Portable Friction Mount [Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging]

  4. This is a great way to mount your nuvi on the dash (my way) or directly onto the windshield. You can’t go wrong!

  5. I bought this to replace my original power cradle on a Nuvi 765T that failed after a couple months use, and figured I might as well get the cradle with a spare suction cup. Granted it’s used mainly on a motorcycle, but it did not take severe abuse, just a lot of plugging and unplugging. I imagine most owners will have to replace the cradle at some point, just under normal automobile use, even if not as quickly as I had to.

The suction cup part is very well designed, sticks well and stays in the position you set it in.
